ECR Awards
Two prizes will be awarded, the Best – Early Career Researcher Oral and the Best – Early Career Researcher Poster. Best ECR Oral will be awarded AUD $1,000 and Best ECR Poster will be awarded AUD $500. Please note that the recipients of Best ECR Oral and Best ECR Poster will be selected by the judges.
Student Awards
Two prizes will be awarded, the Best – Student Oral and the Best – Student Poster. Best Student Oral will be awarded AUD $1,000 and Best Student Poster will be awarded AUD $500. Please note that the recipients of Best Student Oral and Best Student Poster will be selected by the judges.
Lightning Poster Awards
One prize will be awarded to the Best Lightning Poster. Best Lightning Poster will be awarded AUD $250. Please note that the recipients of Best Lightning Poster will be selected by the judges.
Travel Awards applications are now closed.
AGTA advocates the advancement of students and ECRs, the future leaders of genomic technologies. If you are <6 years post degree (BSc, MSc or PhD), we encourage you to apply for the following awards: 1 x $AU500 for applicant from International, 1 x $AU500 for applicant from NZ and 6 x $AU250 for those traveling from other Australian locations (including Queensland). To be eligible for a travel award an abstract must be submitted via the abstract portal before 29 July 2022. If you would like to be considered for a travel award, please send an email to the Conference Coordinator Sharon after submitting an abstract on the portal. Results will be announced by end August 2022.
